The U-Shop is pleased to offer students a new and convenient way to buy or rent textbooks. Please read the information below and acknowledge that you understand our terms and conditions by clicking the link at the bottom of the page.
Textbook Information
To the best of our ability, the Villanova Univerity Shop strives to ensure the accuracy of the textbook information provided. However, please be aware of the following:
- Prices may fluctuate prior to the start of the class.
- Textbook information may not be complete for every class.
- Textbook information may change prior to the start of the class.
- Used textbooks do not include software or access codes.
- Classes may be canceled by Villanova University.

Textbook Rental Information
We are pleased to announce textbook rental options through the University Shop. Textbook rentals are subject to the rental terms listed on the rental website. Visit the U-Shop and stop by one of our rental kiosks to create your personal rental account and get more information.
Please note: Used textbooks do not include software or access codes.
Textbook Shipping
Use the Student Mail Room Pickup option to pick up textbook orders on campus. In order to ensure accurate pick up of your books, please include the student’s name and VU box number in the designated area below. Once processed your order will be available for pick up in either the Kennedy Hall Mail Room or West Campus Mail Room, depending on where your VU Box is located. Off-campus students use OCS in VU box number area and pick up in Kennedy. All packages will be available 48 HOURS AFTER YOUR ORDER WAS PROCESSED. ($4.00)
Course Book Returns (new or used)
For current semester course books purchased before the special “Text Refund Deadline” of the appropriate semester (see below), that deadline must not have passed. Current semester course books purchased after the “Text Refund Deadline” are unreturnable unless the course is dropped during the authorized drop period. Proof of dropping the course is required for refunds of this nature after the Text Refund Deadline.
Textbook rentals are subject to the rental terms listed on the rental website.
Textbook refund deadlines are:
- For current semester course books the “Text Refund Deadline” is one week from the first day of classes.
- Current semester course books purchased after the “Text Refund Deadline” are not returnable.
- If the course is dropped the books may be returned one week from the drop date, and dated proof of dropping the course is required in addition to a cash register receipt.
- Books bought as new copies that are now in used condition will be refunded at 50% of the purchase price.
- Rental books and digital content purchased through the store’s affiliate partners are returnable as per those partners’ separate refund policies.
